SARI Argues that Many East Asian Universities Need International Students to Survive

In an article for Taiwanese news site the News Lens International, Xiaochen Su, the Founder and Managing Director of the Study Abroad Research Institute (SARI), discusses the detrimental impact on East Asian universities from the region's low birth and fertility rates. Xiaochen states that to offset the long-term demographic crisis that risks gains in competitiveness made over recent years, East Asian universities need to attract more students from abroad.
